Just keep in mind, that insurance companies will only pay out for actual damages. They do not pay other parties legal fees in most cases. I am surprised that they allowed that much above your medical fees. Depending on the company, it should be no longer than a week. If it is any longer, they may be deciding to go to aribitration, rather than settle.
