My parents want to buy a dog for the family..?

Truly the best kind of dog is an adopted dog. They are smart, healthy, and can be trained just like any purebred, you can choose a short haired, or medium or long haired if you want. And you cannot control when a dog is going to bark..all dogs bark. I have Corgi's, and they do shed, and they bark...but not all the time. There are so many dogs that need to be adopted, get onto petfinder.com, and you can have your pick.
