02 Toyota Tacoma Brake Line/Shocks ??

To get the brake line loose you will probably need a tubing wrench it is like an open end wrench but is closed on the open side a little so it will fit snugly on the nut. You don't have to jack up the truck to change the rear shocks but remove the old shock then put the top bolt in the new shock and snug it up a little then remove the temporary retaining band from the shock and line it up by hand if you can but if not then put a jack under the bottom of it to push it up until it lines up. As far as struts they are a pain in the a s s when you by them the autoparts should have a spring compressor you will have to have it or you will never get the spring out without killing yourself..Good Luck and I hope this helps
