Chinese pirates move up the value chain, will Somalian pirates copy the Chinese model?

Since Somali Pirates don't actually produce ANYTHING, they have no means to move up the value chain. They'd be better off in supporting their fellow Africans (such as the miners enslaved by China)instead of wandering around the ocean attacking elephants with peashooters.
