Do you like the name Carson for a girl?

I really like it for a girl but a lot of people tell me it sounds like a boy's name. There is Carson McCullers (she wrote The heart is a lonely hunter) and Phoebe Cates character on Shag. Although I realize that these are probably more representative of the southern tradition of using last names as first names than of using Carson as a girl's name. Anyway, what do you think. Do you like it?
