Keep spending lots of money on teeth or have dentures?

my teeth need so much up keep since l had an accident braking my jaw. Now each time l have to fork out i think just pull the tooth and have dentures sooner than later, as in ten years ,l will have spent a fortune and still have dentures any way? I am a fit 58 year old with an absis at the moment, on a top front tooth, which would look funny if l had it out.
