When someone asked about the significance of SAHMs within the Feminist edict ....?

Well, being a SAHM isn't automatically a "submissive" role, and I think that's where the sense of being insulted comes from because not all women that would be SAHM's are submissive women. Being submissive isn't for everyone, and for those that don't/won't/can't be submissive, it is kind of insulting to call them that based on a generalization/stereotype of either their gender or of SAHM's/Housewives.
