Why Is the confederate Flag Still Flown in The Southern States?

I know that Southern States still Fly the Confederate Flag. TO me no matter what anyone says it is a sign of the ugly History of Slavery and the oppression of Black People. The Confederate states Committed Treason against the United states By Trying to Succeed. They did this because they wanted to continue Slavery because it was Very profitable. Obama should sign An Executive order Right Away to Ban the flag from Any government office. And if need Be Enforce this order With Federal Marshalls . Li believe that this is a Contributor to Racism in the Southern States. I was in Florida at my sons high school to visit him a few Years ago and I saw A farther picking up his Daughter and His front llicenseplates Were a confederate Flag. I told my son To be Weary of any other Cars with that Flag. I am from NY and Here we Know Racists when we see them. My son then told me that the first time He ever went out of the house Alone He was with a White friend and the Police stopped him and while his other friends pleaded with the cops to lleavehim alone and the situation escalated. At that time another Black Officer arrived and the other Two white officers Got into there Car and drove away with out saying a word to each other . The black officer told my son he could not attend the Party he was trying to go to and that he should go home. He further explained to My son that In the south is where Racism Started and Especially in Florida. he told my son to watch the movie Rosewood. and keep clear of hanging out with White Kids because it causes some white Cops to get angry. After hearing this I knew was right about that confederate flag. It is a symbol of Hate. Hate against Blacks and against America.
